Voici une position issue de la partie Michelet-Winges, position soumise ici par Julien, où semble-t-il les Blancs ont manqué le gain. Ci-dessous, l'analyse de Julien:
Le but est d'empêcher le Roi noir d'aller en d6. 1.g6 h6(1...hxg6 ne change rien:2.Fxc5 dxc5;3.Rxc5 etc...) ;2.Fxc5 dxc5;3.Rxc5 Rd7;4.d6 et les Noirs ne peuvent et arrêter le pion d6 et protéger le pion e5.
